Yamazaki, Japan’s oldest malt whisky distillery, was matured in a combination of American and Spanish oak, and Japan’s distinctive Mizunara oak, it offers a complex profile of peach, pineapple, coconut and candied orange. The influence of Mizunara oak adds subtle spice and incense-like aromas, which have become hallmarks of Yamazaki’s house style.
